Genuine Ancient Israel Roman Glass & Sterling Silver Circle Necklace
Some of our favorite pieces of jewelry are made from 2,000 year old Ancient Roman Glass. During this time in history, the Roman Empire started a new glass blowing technique that was used to make a variety of glassware.
One of the treasures of Israeli archaeology is the large amount of Roman glass shards that are constantly being dug up, and to preserve these pretty pieces from the past, they are being made into unique pieces of jewelry. The centuries of contact with the soil give the glass a uniquely iridescent patina that makes it a perfect material for necklaces, earrings and rings.
This 17" sterling silver necklace features three abstract cut out circles with Ancient Roman Glass centers. The Ancient Roman Glass measures about 1/2" to 3/4" and has a lobster clasp closure. Please allow for variances in color as well as shape as each piece is truly unique.
Your necklace will come with a Certificate of Authenticity, telling about the history of Roman Glass.
